Bemidji State’s accounting department offers a wide variety of student opportunities ranging from scholarships, tutoring, Accounting Club and volunteer income tax assistance.

Accounting and Auditing Student Conference

Annually Bemidji State University accounting majors attend this Twin Cities conference allowing them to network with prospecive employers, faculty and other students. At least 50 employers provide information and recruit interested students for internships and entry-level positions.

Accounting Club

The Accounting Club is open to students of all majors and is for fostering the goals of accounting students.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available for Introduction to Accounting, Principals of Accounting I and II. Tutors are available in Memorial Hall 105.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Eligible students can receive income tax help from IRS certified assistants.
