Bemidji State University’s Relay for Life organization held its annual relay on Feb. 13. The relay, which featured music, activities, dancing, food, a silent auction and a luminaria walk. This year’s Disney-themed event was held in the Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center and raised over $8,400 for the fight against cancer.

The Beaver Bots, a team of students from Bemidji State University’s Department of Technology, Art and Design, robotics team, won the Design Award at the VEX U Regional Qualifier Competition, January 30 in St. Cloud, Minn., after competing against seven other teams.
Beginning in March, Information Technology Services will expand Bemidji State University’s use of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities StarID as the login credential for on-campus computers and for a variety of online services.
