Get outside and have an adventure with your surroundings.  Explore the beauty that is northern Minnesota.  We will again be offering bike rentals and  these can be rented from the front desk of the Wellness Center.  Below you can find our upcoming summer events/trips.

Summer Programming Events/Trips:

Youth Climbing Clinic 6/10-6/12/24 – Class Session Monday – Wednesday, 10:30am – 12:00pm. Our youth climbing clinics are an introductory course designed to empower youth to discover the sport of climbing with experienced climbing instructors. During sessions, youth will explore basic climbing movement skills and master techniques like knot tying and belaying. We have partnered with the City of Bemidji Parks and Rec, where you can find upcoming dates/offerings and registration.

Canoe Lake Marquette (6/12/24) – Take advantage of northern MN beautiful waterways and join us on a summer paddle. Canoe Lake Marquette, Carr Lake and Mississippi back to Diamond Point Park on Lake Bemidji Wednesday June 12, 4:30pm-8:30pm (times approximate).  Free to current summer or fall students of BSU/NTC. $10 per non-student. Pre-registration of two participants required per canoe. Participants required to be registered two days prior by contacting Eric @ Eric.howd@bemidjstate.edu

We will provide the shuttle, canoe, paddles and life jackets. Contact Eric for more information.

Bike to Bemidji’s County Park (6/19/24) – Bemidji is fast becoming a destination for bike enthusiasts. Take a ride with us and enjoy the great trails Bemidji has to offer.  Bike from Lincoln park to Bemidji’s County park and back. Wednesday June 19, 1:00pm-4:00pm (times approximate)   Free to current summer or fall students of BSU/NTC. $10 per non-student. Participants required to be registered two days prior by contacting Eric at Eric.howd@bemidjstate.edu
