Use the Course Self-Service tool to combine course sections
- Login to D2L Brightspace
- Select the Instructor Support menu
- Select Course Self-Service
- Follow the instruction in the Instructor Self Service knowledge article or watch the Video: Merge two course sections in D2L (3:29 min.)
Notes
- The first section selected during the merge process becomes the Base course. If there are course materials in the base course, they will be copied automatically into the new merged course.
- If you need to merge course sections taught by different instructors (i.e. NRSG Practicums), contact Beth Jensen.
- Courses can be merged up until the course starts (after the course has started, contact Beth Jensen for help with merging).
- You can remove a section from a merged course; however, the removed section will receive a blank shell.
