Affiliated Bemidji State University students, faculty and staff may use the BSU Interlibrary Loan service.
Materials not owned by the BSU Library, as well as materials owned but currently checked out, may be requested. Materials on course reserve or in the Reference Collection, as well as materials available in the BSU Library collections (not currently checked out), cannot be requested.
Request an Article
Within any of the library’s Online Resources, click on the “BSU Links to Full Text” button found near any article citation to gain access to the article online or in the BSU Library collections. If the article is not available either way, you may click on the “Request via Interlibrary Loan” link to request it.
If you are not searching in a library database, search the library’s list of electronic periodicals for online access and the BSU Library Catalog OneSearch to see if the article is available in the BSU library collections. If the article is not available either way, you may use the Citation Linker below to request your article.
Request a Book (DVD, Video, etc.)
Search the BSU Library Catalog (OneSearch) first to see if the book is available in the BSU Library collections. If the book is not available, expand your OneSearch search to include All MnPALS Libraries, and if found, click on the “Resource Sharing” button (after logging in) to request it. If the book is not found, you can search further in the MnLINK catalog, in Worldcat.org, or you may use the Citation Linker below to request the item you need.
