Handshake is your one stop shop for off and on-campus employment, internships, summer jobs and full time employment. Be sure to complete your profile and upload your resume to obtain the most opportunities to gain experience.
BSU students and alumni, you have exclusive access to post your resume for employers to review, and to search the job and internship opportunities listed by employers. Employers, you can post job and internship opportunities and search BSU student and alumni resumes.
Steps to Employment
- Having a perfected Resume
- Come to our office and have your resume critiqued. We offer Resumes On The Run a free drop-in service-please see calendar for days and times it is offered. *Please bring a hard copy and a copy on a flash drive.
- Update your Handshake Profile
- Login to your account update your information and upload your resume so you can search for jobs.
- Log into MyBSU
- Under your name in the left-hand corner find Handshake
- Complete your profile including your major, graduation and skills
- Upload your approved resume
- Login to your account update your information and upload your resume so you can search for jobs.
- Job & Internship Search
- Once you have completed your profile and uploaded your resume you are ready to find employment!
- To search for jobs click on Jobs & Internships, then Job Search
- Next select they keywords and/or position type you are interested in
- Click Email me New Jobs for this Search
- Once you have completed your profile and uploaded your resume you are ready to find employment!
