About Condom Fairy

Condom Fairy makes it easier for BSU students to access condoms and other safe sex resources by removing potential cost, privacy, and embarrassment barriers. Condom Fairy also shares information about sexual health services (like STI testing and treatment) and other ways to support your sexual well-being.

Need condoms ASAP?

Visit the Student Center for Health & Counseling on the first floor of Cedar Hall during business hours. Free condoms are available from our condom dispensers located throughout the clinic. Please ask a staff member if you have any questions or need additional supplies/resources.

Emergency contraceptive options

Emergency contraception (the morning-after pill or IUD) can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. It is most effective within 72 hours of unprotected sex, but you can take it up to five days after- the sooner, the better.

Emergency contraception is available at the Student Center for Health & Counseling. You can call, walk in, or schedule online to make an appointment.

Need immediate access to emergency contraception outside of our business hours? Planned Parenthood and local pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens offer emergency contraception at the pharmacy counter. If you pay out of pocket (without using health insurance), the cost is typically around $50.

Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing

If you’re sexually active, getting tested regularly for STIs is an important part of taking care of your sexual health. The Student Center for Health & Counseling offers convenient STI testing on campus with same day results. Click here to learn about when and how to get tested, what to expect, and more.
