TAD students earn University credits doing paid internships in their area of emphasis/specialization.
Internships provide an opportunity for professional practice under the guidance of a mentor. Through the interaction and integration of academic studies and occupational experiences, the student intern is able to enhance his/her academic knowledge, professional preparation and personal growth.
Students should meet with their advisors to determine the number of credits suggested/required and discuss options for appropriate internship experience that relates to the student’s program of study.
