Upcoming Changes
Effective July 1, 2027, to renew a Tier 2 or Out-of-Field Permission license, using enrollment and meaningful progress in a teacher preparation program, candidates are required to either complete 1) at least 15 credits, or 2) at least 10 sub-standards within the Standards of Effective Practice.

Section 8: Verification of Enrollment
- FasTrack students:
- Completed Orientation to FasTrack
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
- MSPED and Licensure Only students (non-FasTrack):
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
Section 8: Verification of Meaningful Program Progress
- FasTrack students:
- Completed Orientation to FasTrack
- Completed at least one course each semester since starting the program
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
- MSPED and Licensure Only students (non-FasTrack):
- Completed at least one course each semester since starting the program
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
Out-of-Field Permission
- FasTrack students:
- Completed Orientation to FasTrack
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
- MSPED and Licensure Only students (non-FasTrack):
- Enrolled in at least one course this (or next) semester
- No academic or dispositional concerns were noted by Program Leader(s)
