Hello! My name is Alison McAghon (she/her/hers). I’m a sophomore majoring in environmental science, and minoring in Indigenous sustainability studies and Spanish! I’m from Richfield, Minnesota, just south of Minneapolis and about 4 hours from BSU. I love to spend my free time here hiking, fishing, hanging out with friends, and just generally being outside! 

I chose BSU for many reasons! The most prevalent are the location, access to the lake and state parks, and the incredible environmental science program. I also love how eco-friendly and sustainable our campus is and the outdoor-focused lifestyle I can have while being a student here. One of my favorite places on campus is the American Indian Resource Center! I love the opportunities to learn about the lifestyle of the indigenous people in the area!
