Hi everyone! My name is Samantha DeGeest, but I go by Sam. I am originally from Somerset, Wisconsin, which is about four and a half hours south of Bemidji. I am currently a sophomore at Bemidji State and I am majoring in accounting. 

One of the reasons I chose to come to BSU is because of the campus size. Bemidji State isn’t a big college but not a small one either. It’s the right size to be able to meet new people in classes while seeing others you may already know! Also, there are a lot of different activities you can do on and off campus and a lot of places you can explore!
